SUBMITTING A FORM
It is necessary for the EPC to have pertainant data and information about you (or your agents) if you are submitting a Contact Form to us. This information is for the sole purpose of being able to facilitate correspondence between the EPC and the Inquiring Party. This information will include your name(s), (pseudonyms are allowed if you are overly concerned about privacy), your general location as provided by you (we do not use trackers or GPS coordinates or any other tracking method), your phone number (optional in most cases), your email address (required for correspondence) as well as other variables that may arise.
As we do not require a login process, no personal data can be obtained that personally identifies you. Nor do we have, or allow logging in from Third Party applications such as Google or Facebook.
When using Contact Forms ALL INFORMATION AND INPUT THAT YOU PROVIDED IS IMMEDIATELY DELETED FROM OUR WEBSITE AND SERVERS UPON SUBMISSION. WHEN YOU CLICK "SUBMIT" YOUR INFORMATION IS UNRETREIVABLE.
PROVIDING SERVICES
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION: By using our website and/or services you consent to our TERMS of USE. By doing so you are entering into a contract with us [Article (6) (1) (b) of the GDPR]. IE: Processing your Personal Data is necessary for the Provision of the Services(s).
RETENTION TIME
Unless otherwise needed, the retention time of your information on our website or servers is zero time. in the case when more advanced forms are used and submitted the time that the EPC keeps your information will be for as long as is required for us to carry out and complete our services. However, this information is not kept on our website or servers.
Replies to surveys will allow the EPC to keep the information that you or your agent submits indefinitely, but will not contain personal identifiers unless your consent is given.
IMAGES and AUDIO
Any images or audio that is submitted to the EPC may, upon our discretion be placed for public view on our website. In these events, every effort is made to disguise and mask the identity of the submitting party, their exact location or other identifiers by using digital masking and coverage.
ANALYTICS
The EPC makes every possible effort to avoid using anything operated by Google, Facebook and Amazon as they can and will, without user knowledge, collect vast amounts of user information. Despite our best efforts, this information can still be collected (or not) depending on YOUR browser settings. However, some apps and keyboards can send information to several trackers by keystroke tracking! Unfortunately, ALL websites are "used at your own risk".
This website uses Burst Statistics, a Privacy-Friendly Statistics Tool to analyze visitor behavior. For this functionality, we (the Eidolon Project Info-Site) collect anonymized data, stored locally without sharing it with other parties. Your information is kept between you and us, period.
Ads / Third-Party / Social Media
THE EIDOLON PROJECT CANADA INFO-SITE DOES NOT USE ADS. The website does not use ADs of any sort from any source. This allows you to be free of being tracked by trackers, bots, crawlers or any other known methods of gathering your information or data.
We do not have any processes in place that take you directly to an outside source of media such as Facebook or other Social Media that, in most cases, will track your activity. instead, we provide links that you may open in your browser via copy/paste. Although inconvenient to some, this policy is in place for your, ours and general internet safety and security.
GOOGLE FONTS
When websites use Google Fonts the fonts can be used by Google to track your activity. Here is how it works: the webpage uses Google Fonts that are linked to Google. When a user enters a page using Google Fonts information from the user's browser can send information back to Google's Servers. The exception is when the fonts are hosted on the website's servers instead of Google, thus breaking the circle or chain. THE EPC INFO SITE USES GOOGLE FONTS THAT DO NOT REPORT BACK TO GOOGLE. THE FONTS ARE KEPT FROM "RECYCLING" AS THE FONTS ARE HOSTED FROM THE EPC'S SERVERS, NOT GOOGLE. THIS MEANS THAT GOOGLE CAN NOT TRACK YOU.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
The EPC does not use Google Analytics to process information regarding the usage and safety of our website. The EPC uses a Self Hosted Analytical Service operated from the EPC servers to ensure your privacy and personal information security.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS
On our Reference and Links page(s) the EPC provides outside websites that may contain pertinent, interesting or topical information. These links are not operated or controlled by the EPC and therefore you use them at your own risk, as you would entering any other website on the internet. when you enter these outside links to resources you will be subject to the individual website policies and terms of use.
SOCIAL MEDIA
The EPC does not provide direct paths to Social media platforms such as Facebook (or Messenger), YouTube, Reddit, Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, et.al. Instead, we will provide links to our media venues via a copy/paste URL.
For Your Peace of Mind / Security
The EIDOLON PROJECT CANADA considers online Safety and Security to be a priority. We have implemented several security features on this website. Some may be obvious while others are working in the background 27/7/365.
For discernment, we will not reveal the number or type of security measures operating.
To keep you, your data and your activity from being tracked or traced we have eliminated Third-Party ADs on this website.
This, as with most websites utilized the use of Third-Party "Plug-ins" to function such as forms, Self Hosting abilities, Security and Firewall utilities and others that allow us to provide you with information from the Info-Site.
This website, despite all measures taken against the impeachment of our security measures, can not guarantee the absolute safety and security of our web services at all times. We can not stop hacking attempts or deliberately misleading or changes of code. That said, our Server Host is the leading source of secure websites and works continuously around the clock keeping their servers and plug-ins free of any malicious code or breaches of security. If a problem is found, our Webmaster is informed of the issue immediately so that preventive measures can be taken. Please bear in mind that ALL WEBSITES ARE 'USE AT YOUR OWN RISK'!
